Most minor corrections to passenger details can be made directly through the Ryanair portal without needing to contact Customer Support.
1. How to Change a Date of Birth (DOB)
If you noticed an incorrect birth date on your confirmation or during check-in, you can usually fix it in seconds:
Navigate to the Ryanair Manage Booking portal.
Log in using your Booking Reference (6 characters) and the Email Address used to make the booking.
Go to the "Manage Passengers" or "Change Age/DOB" option within your trip summary.
Select the passenger whose details need updating.
Enter the correct Date of Birth and click "Confirm."
2. Why is the "Edit" button greyed out?
In certain scenarios, the Manage Booking portal may not allow you to save changes. This typically happens for the following reasons:
Security Requirements: The flight is to/from the UK or involves Spanish Resident Discounts.
Category Change: You are trying to change a passenger type (e.g., changing an "Adult" to an "Infant").
Partial Check-in: You have already checked in for the outbound leg of the journey.
System Linkage: You have recently linked two separate bookings or added children to an existing reservation, which can occasionally lock manual edits.
3. What to Do if You are Blocked Online
If the portal does not allow you to save the changes:

Note: Minor corrections to DOB are usually free, but changing a passenger category or a full name after the 24-hour grace period may incur a fee.
